Modern Warfare 2

Modern Warfare 2 was created by the team at Infinity Ward and published by Activision.
Modern Warfare 2 is the most anticipated game of 2009. It released on November 10th world wide and sold over 4.7million copies and generating over $310 million world wide. Making Modern Warfare 2 the biggest entertainment launch in history.

Modern Warfare 2 is based right after the events of the first Modern Warfare (Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare). The continues with you playing as Soap MacTavish as well as some new characters you can play as. The game uses IW4 engine, the same as Call of Duty 4.

The game can be played single player and multiplayer. The multiplayer is the most acclaimed multiplayer system in the world! The multiplayer experience is amazing, the graphics are the same as single player but a lot cooler and better.

The difficulty settings are the same as the first Modern Warfare but the names have changed. You have Recruit ,Regular, Hardened and Veteran. Each setting is harder then the last, it changes how easy you aim and how the enemy's behave.

The game is available on Xbox Live and features the best multiplayer experience you will ever play. It features a ranking system that through playing games you gain EXP which goes towards your count which once you fulled up the bar you reach the next rank. There are 70 ranks and 10 prestige's (When you hit rank 70, you can prestige back to rank 1 and start all over again. This increases the replay value of the game.) Throughout ranking up, you will gain new perks, weapons and equipments which will help you throughout your multiplayer experience.

The length of the game's storyline is quite short, but the experience that you get by playing the game is worth it. The average time on lowest difficulty setting is about 5 hours. This depends on your skill level and ability to play FPS (First Person Shooters.)

You save by completing each mission and you can also automatically save when you quit the game.

The game is quite comfortable to play and the controls are also comfortable as well. If your not used to playing these sorts of games, it will takes some time for you to get used to them. Navigating throughout the game is quite easy, as there is a simple system of getting around and the game naturally guides you through it with tasks.

The graphics are quite amazing, they really did a good job in producing the game. However, there are some graphical implications that hinder the experience that you will have. As well as there are some scenes in the game which have it's controversies and it's issues with certain countries. For instants, Russia has recently banned the game as it contains a level that has you go through a Russian airport mowing everyone down in your path. But on the bright side! the overall graphics is amazing and realistic and a good thumbs up.

The game contains soundtrack that really compliments the game's overall experience. The sound really goes well with the game and really shows through each scene. The composer of the music is  Hans Zimmer who is an Oscar-winning Hollywood composer.

Overall the game is very excellent and I would recommend it to everyone that is thinking about buying the game. I give it a rating of 5/5
