Fallout 3

Fallout 3 is an action role-playing game released by Bethesda Game Studios, and is the third major game in the Fallout series. It's available on the Xbox 360 , Playstation 3 and PC. Fallout 3 was released on October 30th 2008.

Fallout 3 takes place in Washington in the year 2277 , 36 years after Fallout 2 and 200 years after the nuclear war that destroyed the world. You play as a resident of a nearby vault called Vault 101. The game spends your whole childhood in the vault leading up to where you leave. The game is more of a survival type, you have to survive in the outside world known as the "Wasteland". You will encounter bandits and wild mutants who will stop at nothing to get rid of you. The game has a excellent feel to it and it's environments.

The game is a single player game and there is no multi player or Co-Op.

The game features a difficulty setting where you can change the setting of difficulty, as you make it harder, monsters change towards the setting making them harder to kill and as a reward, the loot is better.

The game doesn't have any multi player and future installments may have multi player but not much is known about it. Multi player would be quite fun as you could of roamed the wasteland with your friend trying to survive day in and day out.

The game features an age rating of 18 due to Sexual Content, Blood and Gore, Drug Use and Extreme Violence. But I find that most ratings are a bit over the top, but that is in my opinion.

The length of the game is quite long, it took me a good 17 hours to fully finish the main storyline. But there's more, the game features countless quests, tasks and places to discover which extend the game's life and replay value.

The game comes with a standard saving system where you go to the start menu and select save and continue. Nothing special about it but it does include Auto Save which is quite handy when things go wrong. It also saves when you leave a building or a map.

The game has an amazing replay value where you can play over and over again without feeling like you've done this before. It has an advance Good and Evil moral system which changes how people interact with you and the way you interact with them. It also has a stat system which effects your damage, health, speed and vision. As well to that it includes a perk system, where you can get specific traits added to your character.

The game is quite comfortable to play and I find that the controls are easy to get a grip of. Dark areas may be a bit of a problem but that can be fixed by changing the brightness on your TV or Monitor.

The graphics are amazing, they obviously put a kit of time together to make the game look how it is. The environment goes extremely well the the game's setting and the amount of detail is very fine and well done. A game worth it's value.

The sound effects are great, the score is as well equal as it moves to the game's environment and when you play. Very well done.
The game has endless possibilities and is a game well done,  I give this a rating of 4/5 due to the lack of multi player which would of been awesomely awesome.

Matt.
